A year after creating this nonprofit, Keren and her team developed a new concept that would highlight the force Latinas had behind the growing numbers of businesses creation by minorities in the U.S. They created what it was going to be known as Emprendedoras Latinas, an annual forum that will give women business owners and new entrepreneurs the tools to succeed in the U.S. The program was also supported by a series of monthly Mesas Redondas (Round Tables) aiming to create conversations that would lead to innovation and more business opportunities for this eager segment. In the following years, the Emprendedoras annual forum would grow in size and impact, but in 2018, Keren decided that it was time to evolve and extend this amazing program to other cities. Thus BizMujer was born, a community platform catered to Latina and other Minority Business Owners with the objective to empower women in the U.S. to advance their career, grow their business and help them design a new the future, this by pursuing Economic development within a welcoming environment of Business-focused women leaders.
