Gabriel Cabañas holds an MBA from the University of California Irvine, Paul Merage School of Management, achieving the Dean’s Scholar Award for outstanding academic performance. He attended the University of San Diego, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Gabriel developed his 25-year professional career, working in the printing, dry cleaning and wholesale food manufacturing industries. During his career as an operations executive, he has taken full P&L responsibility as General Manager, Entrepreneur and Director. Gabriel has been involved with startups in agribusiness, property management, finance, recycled packaging, natural gas distribution and e-commerce. He is bilingual in Spanish and bicultural with business experience on both sides of the Mexico-United States border. Gabriel currently lives in San Diego, with his wife and son, and has a daughter attending College. He is constantly learning about private and public entrepreneurship programs and reading about business model architecture, agile development and innovations from around the world.
